ABOUT FRIVOLE

Frivole is one of the first typefaces I designed. It's an experimental typeface that seeks to find new letterforms that express a very spontaneous way of drawing. The basic premise was to construct each letter as if it were to be drawn in a single stroke by hand, a single shape, made in a single gesture. The result is a highly original, distinctive display typeface that plays with contrast, distributed in an unconventional way, but also with endings and cut-outs that make the typeface very dynamic. Legibility is automatically relegated to the background to highlight shapes that seek to attract the eye and show a certain boldness in the message that will be conveyed by this font.
