In the Olympian scheme, the king of gods Zeus is the father of her twins, Apollo and Artemis, who Leto conceived after her hidden beauty accidentally caught the eye of Zeus. Classical Greek myths record little about Leto other than her pregnancy and search for a place where she could give birth to Apollo and Artemis, since Hera, the wife of Zeus, in her jealousy ordered all lands to shun her and deny her shelter.

Leto finds its origins in the logos and lettering of the world of motorsports. Referring to the intensity and speed of cars and motorcycles in this field, Leto's style is modular, geometric, and pragmatic. It is built on a very low structure, which brings a very high x-height while maintaining a 'compact' and 'streamlined' character. These types of shapes are also obviously found in industrial contexts, on logos of printing machines, for example, or on futuristic elements in science fiction films. This mix of references and influences becomes interesting when using Leto to shape content with the aim of making it appear technical and well-designed, or fast and ergonomic, or even futuristic and impacting.
